Description Chokin plate Bird 24Kt gold trim with original stand. Vintage in 'as new' condition as the item has been carefully stored. This plate is made in Japan and is 16cm diameter. Chokin Art in Japan originates in decoration on a Buddhist shrine in the 6th century. Afterwards Chokin was applied to armory such as armors, helmets, swords etc.
