Description The Consecration. A quiet still moment, wrapped in the love of Holy Mother Church. The Host is poised right over Mary’s womb, where Jesus resided for 9 months, reminding us how Our Lord chose to enter the world. As He came to us through her, so we can confidently go to Him through her intercession. St. Joseph and St. Therese and two angels participate in giving glory to our God, the two altar boys assist as the priest raises our Lord to the Father, offering the un-bloodied sacrifice of Calvary to the Father. __________________________ Painted as a comission for the the Sisters of St. Benedict Center, Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Harvard, MA.
